A look back at one of the most memorable all-star games in Backyard Baseball League History. For the second year in a row, the brothers Patrick and William Larkin would be matched up in an epic pitchers duel, on the grand stage. The first few innings would see a constant battle between two brothers with one mission; out-dueling the other. It was a burst of offense though that would knock The Ann Drive Salami out of the game and secure the victory for the Pittsfield Garibou. Patrick Larkin and Patrick Walsh would supply three homeruns to secure the victory. The game was filled with an under tone of sadness as BBL Legend Samuel Utz had announced his retirement prior to the game and promised the fans a grand send off. Although the Salami lost, Utz provided a heart pounding moment as he sent a divine home run over the left field fence. Though Utz would later return from retirement to spark the Salami's offense, this memorable day is still spoken of very fondly by his fans and widely regarded as his greatest performance on the field.
