Course Introduction:
Objectives of this course are: (1) introduce students to the world of finance, especially the financial operations of the business (s), (2) acquaint students with fundamental concepts and methods used in finance corporate (3) to equip students with the "methods of analytical thinking" and "decision rules" used in the field of financial management. Corporate finance is not just about the assessment or risk management, which involves much more than that. It encompasses many other areas that are key to achieving the ultimate objective of maximizing shareholder value. And the student will have the opportunity to be exposed to all these issues in detail and work with them.
Learning Outcomes:
After completing the course the student will have a full working knowledge of the theories, methods and procedures used in the financial management of a company, segmented into three key areas. - Capital budgeting, dealing with the side of the long-term investment balance sheet. - Capital structure: on all aspects relating to the proper combination of debt and equity - Working Capital Management:. deal with problems affecting the flow of short-term operation addition, the student will also have exposure to areas that appear very often in today's business press: Mergers and Acquisitions, financial difficulties and restructuring and the introduction the basic international corporate finance.
Course Methodology:
- Debate and discussion: Participants will discuss and debate an online event that will be used throughout the program. This clearly establishes the need for aa complete marketing toolbox. - Individual Study: The textbook and experience first hand is used to present the marketing tools and methodologies that address the issues involved and identified by program participants. - Practice: Practical tools and methodologies, application to the case and submit your request for debate and discussion will build confidence and the expertise of each participant. - The textbook (Corporate Finance: European Edition) can be used to present a complete and proven marketing tool kit. - Exercises and case mini-book and others proposed by Professor
