This is a re-load of a file I originally did on February 14, 2010. The original upload came up 'File Corrupted" one day, and I had to delete it. This happened several months ago. Today I discovered that I still had the original file on my hard drive, so I have re-installed it.
This particular Sarabande is a composition for the unaccompanied violin, which has also been played on the classical guitar for over a century. My version is taken from Frederick Noad's 1976 book "The Baroque Guitar". The slight ornamentation on the repeats is my own doing.
TECH DATA: Recorded on a Flip UltraHD camcorder. There is no additional processing of the sound file. The guitar is a custom-made 640mm flamenco guitar built by Johnny Walker, of Bartlesville OK. It was completed in October 2009. Englemann spruce top, Monterey Cypress back and sides. The tuners are the Peghed 4:1 ratio geared pegs, which work rather better than the traditional ebony. Since this video was made, I have acquired another Johnny Walker guitar, which I have not yet recorded, and I recommend his work without hesitation.
David...this is so beautiful. I love your music! :-)

Another great performance! Music from this time is not my favorite but I enjoy listening to it when played well.
