How to draw a female body manga/anime style

Read This first!

So this tutorial is on how to draw a manga/anime female body, it's very basic though. All you need is a piece of paper and a pencil. And you might also want to use a ruler, to measure. I coloured my drawing using my pro markers which can be bought at your local art supplies store.

Step by step:
1: Decide the length, then draw a line of the chosen lenght and devide it into six.
2: Draw the head, the head must be the size of one piece of the six pieces.
3: Draw the neck and the shoulders, make sure the shoulders are not to high or they might seem stiff
4: Draw the torso, where later also the breasts will be placed.
5: Draw her waist.
6: Draw the lower part of the upper half. You should by now have covered the upper three parts of the six.
7: Draw the knees and attach them to her thighs
8: Draw the hands at the top of her thighs, well, almost at the top.
9: Draw her ankles and her lower legs, leave enough room for her feet though.
10: Draw her feet.

TIPS:
-If you're not sure about where to place the hands or the elbows, try looking at your own elbows and see where they are placed on your body.
-You can customize everything to how you like it!
-This is just a guideine, you dont have to do it this way but is is very usefull.
-If you practice this a lot, you will be able to do it without the whole circles and lines thing.
