In this video I show my homage to Lisa Patencio. Kim Poole. Gary Reef.
all 3 are tremendously great Artists and I am honored to have them in my life.
Lisa: for your work with plastic bottles and Native American artwork.
Kim: for your frugality and finding artistic ways to see things as Art.
Gary: for the masks you made in your own hand built kiln, sparking the idea.
the materials: Plastic water jug. duct tape. junk mail. glue. water. gesso. spray paint. *a crackle medium which didn't work* rafia. burlap stained with coffee grounds. domino turned into turquoise. liquid copper leaf. upholstery tacks.
this took several days to complete only because of work. otherwise this should only take 1 day (2 tops)
thank you all for watching and I hope you get inspired to create your own works of Art from the Everyday materials that surround you.
Until we meet again,
RISE ABOVE.
Rev. Gregori Veverka

I love this. What a GREAT way to recycle those plastic jugs. Fantastic job. I like tribal stuff a lot. I have been asking myself, "What can I do with these jugs" for a while now. So, now I know! Thanks for sharing Gregori!
