Danse Russe~Kid X Maka

Before I start, I want to let you know that my favorite pairing in the Soul Eater series is MakaXKid. Soul and Maka is a sweet pairing, dont get me wrong! I love the fanart, the Doujins (especially, KISSs work, hehee). However, there are a few fanarts of Maka and Kid and I love them all. And as much as my friends tell me that MakaXKid will never happen, I dont care. I love it and Im sticking to it. Also, anything is possible! Ohkubo might make it happen, hehee.

Okay, A few months ago I made a SoulXMaka AMV with the acoustic version of this song (see video response). I was bored then and I was certainly bored yesterday during my vacation. I didnt feel like working on my MEP(s) or my other WIP, so I starting making this and it took me about an hour or two. Im not really sure

Both videos are told in Soul POV and in Kids POV, having Maka as the main focus (Shes getting too much of that! Where is Black Star? He is the real star! XD).I chose this song again for this unique pairing, because this song reminds me of Maka. Her body, her fighting is just like a dancer. Not very elegant(maybe because of those shoes), but to me, her fighting is like some kind of dance (as I tried to make it look like it in the video).
Her body too is like a Ballerina. Long slender legs, thin body, possibly a strong, but slender body. She would have seemly lines if she was a ballerina.

The first video, I used the first verse and the chorus of the song. However, the endings for both are the same, but sung differently since they are different styles. Back then, I wasnt planning on making an AMV with the original version, so I used the Acoustic version for Souls POV. Besides, this style fits Soul.

This video, I used the second verse and the final parts of the song. I tried in the best of my ability to make a simple, quick MakaXKid tribute. The first video was very touching, emotional and loving. They are together and this is how Soul sees her. However, this video is different. Its more of a secret love.

Anyways, I hope you like one of my biggest challenges!!! For weeks now, I was trying to figure out what song or how to execute a video with this awesome couple!! Finally, after having this song stuck in my head (again) and typing up a love triangle fanfic with Maka and the two boys, I decided to make this. A simple (not really)AMV of my favorite pairing. Completed before the Lakers vs. Magic game yesterday. GO LAKERS!!!!

Before I sign offcongratulations to Soul and Maka. As of Chapter 62, Soul Eater Evans is now Death Scythe and the last member to complete Team Spartoi (THIS IS SPARTOI!!! I can see Black Star shout that during a battle!!)
