  • I'm embarrassed by Mr.Beck at 2:21 its not 306 trillion, its 306 billion.

at 2:43 38 trillion, its only 38 billion.

    and finally at 2:50 Mr.Beck that's 1.2 Trillion.

  • Hey lilmac929,

I've watched Glenn Beck, Napolitano, Dobbs etc. but I always feel like they're leaving something out of their reports.

My guess is that there's another layer or two between lobbyists and the real power behind the scenes. If this were a chess game, the politicians and lobbyists would be the pawns and the rooks... not the root of the problem... just someone for us to scream at so we feel better.

  • @mogodbilealadamnbama

You obviously never watch Glenn Beck. He always talks about how corporations run the government through lobbying, ect.

  • The thing that neither one of these men understand, or admit, is that "corporate America" IS the government. In fact, these corporations are multinational, they have operations on every continent of the globe, and interlocking board memberships, and a revolving door in and out of "advisory" roles in every government, of every country.

  • that number is out of proportion with reality

but if people have a problem with it, why don't we lobby our seniors to give up their social security and medicare/aid benefits for the greater good? these are the same hypocrites that vehemently oppose a public option or anything resembling universal healthcare, and who contribute nothing while draining our tax dollars.

if you look at the tax revenues, they pay for defense, for medicare/aid, social security, and interest on debts. AND THAT IS IT

  • $99 trillion is the unfunded liabilities like Medicare, social security, and other promises in the future that needs to be paid.

What some people say we do not need to worry about it because the government can decide not to pay. LOL

  • $99 trillion huh, negro please
