Lightening cancelled a youth baseball game at Sunset park in Beaverton tonight. The game started but in the 4th inning the lightening started appearing so the umps called the games. This video has four shots of edited lightening.
i had a game in danforth illinois when i was in like instructional league (league before little league) and there was a tornado right outside like 20,000 feet away maybe but it was close and they wouldnt let us off the field it sucked
the cullen family was gonna use the field :D

when it's close enough to hear, the danger is already there.

General rule is, if you hear thunder or see lightning at all, time to call the game. And wait at least 30 minutes after the storm passes to resume.

As he should. Especially at that level, the Umpires'/league officials' main concern must be players' safety.

Good thing the umpire was smart enough to cancel the game... I've had more than a few that weren't!!!!
