I'd like to have a back and forth exchange with Rational Round Table (Michael), and this is my opening to that.

1. How do you know when to interpret the bible literally and when metaphorically? What are the rules?

2. Ways to know: Do you think there are ways beyond empirical evidence to know something?

@maxglobz Gravity isn't something apart from the rest of the things in the universe, to be created separately. It is something that is a byproduct of matter. Anything with mass has gravity. Just like when you heat something enough, it gives off light.

I've gone into "haunted" houses and haven't seen anything.

Maybe ghosts are afraid of skeptics?

@maxglobz There are no ghosts or demons in houses. I'll be anyone $100,000 that I can spend a night in the haunted house of your choice and never encounter any spirit or demon.

If you think you're seeing spirits, I'd have to say you're hallucinating.

@maxglobz Easter is actually the Christians stealing the Esther festival - a pagan worshipping of the goddess Esther. Christmas is actually a kidnapping of a pagan holiday called "yule".

Who created the earth? No one. Gravity caused the earth to be formed.

@OccamKant Also how come there is ghosts in houses and sometimes demons (spirits). How come houses are haunted, that must mean there is an afterlife, I have seen ghosts and it scared me, how come there is polgereist and how come in some houses there is an afterlife, there still there even though there dead. There is heaven, purgatory (earth) and hell, they are very real. Nothing created something, something created something (us). Atheism makes no sense.
