 my ipod shows up as a drive as you said but when i go there theres no videos only pictures :( installed banshee and all possible ipod managers but cant see and transfer video files from the itouch :( this is pissing me off so bad

@SileDevil when I recorded videos on my iPhone 3GS (should be a similar setup) they were just stored in with the pictures, and when I plugged my phone into my computer, Ubuntu/Arch/etc showed a drive with all the pics, but it also had the videos on it as well. I never bothered to use an application other than nautilus to manage the pics/videos.
