the idea is that you could run your finger over the surface and move from the "inside" to the "outside" without crossing an edge, meaning the "inside" and "outside" are the same surface, much like the mobius strip, as zamansiz1471 said. it's hard to picture, and impossible to replicate in reality, as it must cross into itself without creating a hole, meaning the area of intersection is in the 4th dimension

@redKELLYMHRCH Technically, you're right. However, it wouldn't be a "true" Klein Bottle, only a 3d representation of the 4d construct.
