@Bertlejo no they're not ugly, it's just their too big, get your facts right. if they are ugly as a dog of course they are gonna be ugly when there a puppy, so it's just because the puppy gets older, and it gets "BIGGER". Not ugly. gosh get your facts right, i'm not being mean i'm just saying they get bigger, it's okay that's true too. :)

The AKC only recognizes the white color as a disqualification for showing, the UKC recognizes it as an entirely different breed. They were disqualified originally in the 1930's as German Shepherds and since then have been recognized (originally in Switzerland) by the UKC as the Swiss White Shepherd, so yes, technically, they are an entirely different breed.

Do white shepherds have black tear stains around their eyes?
