Man this one took a long time. The video ended up being a bit long so I didn't have time to add an intro... but who cares! This video will show you a more reliable PLL which you can solve in two steps every time, learning this WILL make you a couple seconds faster.

The PLL images for the video were created by me. If you ask me really nicely I'll send them to you and you can use them. Feel free to modify them for other OLLs or PLLs too, just please give credit where credit is due. A million points to whoever tells me what the blue background is from. = D

If you don't like these algorithms, please feel free to comment and tell me about what you feel might be a BETTER algorithm.. I'm always in the market for better algorithms. Also, a million points to whoever can tell me a set of N permutations that don't suck balls.

I hope this speeds you up a little bit. Between the beginners method, the Fredrich pairs, the 2-look OLL and this video, you should be quite a decent speedcuber! If you havn't seen all of those, check them out. You won't regret it.

  • do i have to make sure the bottom is yellow before i do this...?

  • Thanks so much for this video... i've been doing corners method for a while with only a few algorithms.

  • 0:49 clockwise corner

  • thanks so much. nw i hope i can get mt average to about 20 or 30 seconds. for the pll you have to 2 algorithms right?

  • I do such a wierd solve on the last layer.. I self taught from just messing around with my own algs and tracing the pieces where they ended up. It's probably not good, but I feel good knowing the way I solve a cube has always been unique. I got it down to around 30sec ave without memorizing a single alg off the internet.

  • I think that the blue red background is from your carpet

  • Do you know all the pll algorithms? How many time you took to decorate them?

  • but the edges don't get fixed in OLL for whatever reason
