@RickRudesMustache There are many jet-ski games released in 1996: this game, "Wave Race 64", "Wave Shark" (that's a Konami game), "Aqua Jet" (Namco), and "Jet Moto" (PS1). I think "Aqua Jet" came first, because the graphics look pretty dated.

I wonder which came first Wave Runner or Wave Race 64? I know they were both released in 1996 but I can't find any specific dates from when Wave Runner went into development but I'm kind of guessing Sega copied Nintendo on this one. I do think the water looks much nice in Wave Race 64 at least.

I agree, but like airraideagle said already the saturn was more of a 2d machine and had some hardware issues like two main processors which were hard to handle
