Flu stories faster than flu itself

The swine flu virus is spreading across the globe. Even though experts say the world has never been better prepared for a pandemic there remains an underlying fear of hysteria.

Not sure where this will lead, or how quickly it will deteriorate. I have been all most all sides of the faceted bauble. Navy> Government Q clearance employee, Big Corporation employee, owner of small business. Unemployed. Retired now.

Two things are very important to me right now. Getting in touch with my own experiences living in the mountains, near the shore, on the desert, and WHO I STILL know. Planning ahead if possible to be a moving target.

When you are on the Government payrolls with a security clearance, it is easy to smile and talk about your cats rather than take action. The Gestapo used similiar tactics. Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, Charles Taylor, Vladimer lenin......Just smile at the people or frown.

There is no experienced, capable leadership in Washington DC today. NONE.

Just look at Napolitano and Sebeleius dispatched to READ PREPARED STATEMENTS, something you or I could do just as adequately, about this flu pandemic. Neither of these people are truly responsible for anything they say or do based on their own experiences or education. Same as Obama himself.

It will be a feral world, I fear, here in America. Wathc for first signs in urban areas where crime will rule. Provide for your own

What a mess. Government failures. 9/11, War in middle east, Bankster bailouts, swine virus....All the Government seems to do is talk and spend money. Not for our interests. Their interests. No victory in sight. The beaurocracies become bigger. More hands in the cookie jar. We already know the Government frowns on the Constitution. It would be jobless if it didn't. Is it possible to be a slave and not even know it?

This is Obama's Katrina. So far, he has done nothing, repeat nothing, to stem the tide of influenza spreading throughout the USA. When it finally reaches a large enough number, say 10,000 cases (out of my ass), this administration will close the borders and limit air travel and commerce between countries for awhile. States will be encouraged to shut down schools and shopping malls even if it hurts the economy.

Mexican people leaving Mexico City with the virus have fled to San Antonio,Texas and to Los Angeles, California. The hospitals in Mexico City have been turning people away. Even some of the staff have become infected.

funny thing is that im not a Mexican, in an European citizen, and how do u exactly know that an infected mexican got thru with the flu and infected the americans? somehow i dont think that a poor mexican have got the money to get a flight to say, new york where the flu is suppose to be 'raging', someone from america went to mexico ,got ill and came back to the country, plain and simple, the mexicans are dying on their own soil

No. You are the racist. I never asked Mexicans to come into the U.S. Your Government did. I never asked for American manufacturing jobs to go to Mexico and China. Your Government did. I never asked for open borders. Your Government did. You call me a racist because a Mexican (infected with the virus) entered into the United States and the virus continues to spread as a result?
