Either the NHL are inconsistent or they are fixing games against canadian teams. Rome's hit deserved 2 games not 4. And in the 07 finals, Pronger, who had already been suspended in the playoffs, nailed the Ottawa guy with a extremely dirty hit. That only got 1 game

It'd be a good clean hit if he had the puck, however, he passed the puck off for a good 2-3 seconds before taking the shot. It's a dirty hit.

@bilpofo Still I must say, not talking 'bout Romes' matter now, I have great doubts about the competence of the NHL, their decisions and the explanations on why fining players for 'brutal play' or what ever is SO chaotic!!!

@gameover221 Interesting I find your point horton should have turned his head to the front, i just think he was sure nobody would check him in the second 'cause he was far away from the puck!
I'm pretty sure the check is much too late, u say 0.8-0.9 sec. ... imagine it would take a player more than 2 sec... hockey is the fastest game... Rome's check was SO unnessecary plus far too hard, combined I understand he was cancelled for the other games! This is MY opinion;)
