alright um is there any way to make the jeans look better in the mean time? just asking case it clips the picture in each poly wich is what i was trying to avoid.

wow awsome, i orderd 2 other ram sticks to make sure im ready for the animations im going to do. so now i have make human for my models, i know how to create hair a bit, how to texture buildings, now i just gotta figure out how to properly texture models like humans and stuff. and give metal a cool look like ur general grevious (if i spelled it right)

i was messing with the UV maps but im kinda confused. how do i put an image on it? cause i did try the other way from this vid and my characters jeans came out lookin weird. so i messed with UV and now i dont know what to do to make a better looking pair of jeans... help please?

UV mapping is complex so I will need to do a separate UV tutorial on that some time soon. It's just to big a topic to cover here so keep an eye out for a tutorial on that topic.
