This is a short video clip shot at the rally and march on Friday night (April 10th) for the students arrested that afternoon in the occupation of the Graduate Faculty building of the New School in New York City. This video is from the last part of the march when police arrested several people, one of which can be seen in this film. The man who assaults the camera is believed to be either NYPD or possible a security official for the New School. His identity is still trying to be confirmed. This is a continuation of the police violence and assaults which happened on Friday during the occupation.

RVMEDIA...you are a raging retard. it is only a FELONY if a WEAPON or SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY occurs in the assualt. Assault has 3 degrees. the guy pushing or slapping the camera is not considered assault, only harassment! i know the law b/c i read the law. i know what i am talking about, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!! the jerk filming stated, at 4:06 on the video, "it is a felony offense to hit a photographer" which he is WRONG. and he clearly stated he punched my camera.

esters at this incident weren't all that innocent either. You should also look up the Penal Law regarding criminal trespass and the law regarding Offenses against public order. And just so you know, because a person is placed in handcuffs, does not mean that they're under arrest, and they do not need their Miranda Rights read to them unless they are being questioned about a crime.
