What an idiot, if I was a pilot in that situation I would have not even attempted to land in those conditions. He put people's lives at risk by doing this.

pilot did a great job.. but couldve avoided it if he followed the atc to land on runway 33 instead of 23 to avoid violent crosswinds

Terrible, Why did the pilot fly into such bad conditions? He put everyones lives at risk on board that flight. And this is coming from a cabin crew member, he should have not gone near that runway, he should have diverted in the first place. Polit a hero.....I think not, I think foolish is the correct word.
