@mickey5241 The ultra Ii is my go to guitar I love it. Your problems are real and need to be fixed by a good guitar setup guy/luthier, unless you recently got it then it may be under warranty and you can get it fixed by the company or exchanged. When I got mine it broke the g string constantly I finally had my guy get it fixed, then no more worries.

that was nice. do you think you can also make a tele sound like les paul?

Fair play, your really good on guitar, ive got the epiphone les paul ultra, great choice.

@GuitarGare Thanks - that fits with another uploader who reckons the Ultra II weight 5.6 lbs (2.5jg). Thanks.
VERY interesting demo - unusual and at times really reminiscent of Jerry Donahue playing a Telecaster! It's such a treat not to see a demo which is just distortion and shredding! Thanks again.
WOW! Man you are amazing!! where did you learn how to play like this??
How many years have you been playing guitar?? :O

How heavy is the Ultra II - any idea?
AlanSturgess 1 year ago
@AlanSturgess -it is much lighter than a regular LP, as the body is chambered.
Probably under six pounds. It's also contoured for your ribcage as well, taking off still more weight.

AMAZING TALENT !!! Good radio voice too. Why this guy isn't making a bundle recording I'll never know. Too much radio airwaves bastardized with half baked talent posing as "artists". Gary, I could listen you you play all day! Please make some more videos with a backup band! Or put something up on reverbnation and people can pay you for it! I'd be a continual subscriber !!!
Thanks for making my day!

@ThePeaceOfJesus I was just reading over the comments again while answering another question and saw this. Thanks for your kind words. I live in a market that I have described as the "Black Hole of Charisma". London, Ontario, Canada. Because of varying polarized market skews that comprise this city, nothing impresses anyone. The musicians that live here are the toughest people on earth. We have been ignored by the best. New York? Don't make us laugh. Madison Ave. uses us for product testing.
