  • Will this work with a BLENDER? I don't have a food processor and I can't afford to purchase one at the moment. PLEASE RESPOND. Thanks!

  • @GoldieGlitters It's unlikely that you'd have very good results with a blender... depending on the type of machine you have, you'd risk overworking the motor. If you have access to a single-serving style blender (like a Magic Bullet) you may be able to use that instead of a food processor, with a little extra patience. What you could try in your blender is adding a little water ... it will turn out more like a fudge (or a pudding if you add too much) but will still taste delish.

  • wow those look great! and so easy to make! but just one thing, will you be able to make them without the walnuts...i don't have any at home and i am only 12 so i can't go to the market and buy them :\ any way thanks for this amazing recipe!

  • @cuteraz18 Sorry, you do need nuts to make this work. You can also use raw cashews, macadamia nuts and/or almonds ... the flavor and texture will be slightly different, but they are still really good. Thanks for checking out the recipe!

  • hello !! i was trying to make these brownies ,, but i doesn't have walnuts and medjool dates.. can i just replace the walnuts to graham crubs and medjool dates for brown sugar?? and also .. is cacao powder a cocoa powder or not? that's all ..!! thanks!! :)

  • @presiousqueen Cocoa is toasted, roasted and/or a more processed form of cacao. It doesn't sound like the recipe would "stick" together with the graham crumbs and sugar... and it wouldn't be as healthy. This recipe is really good!

  • any substitute for dates????

  • This looks so amazing! I know I will love this but I hope our kids like them too so they stop asking for the store bought mix.

  • you're a genius!! omg these look ammmmaaazing! you've got my sub!!

  • @superfoodswithjules We don't have medjool dates where we live, is there anything other stuff I can use??

  • Is this recipe diabetes friendly? I am concerned with the dates as a sweetner. Thanks

  • these were so awesome! i only had 1/4c of walnuts so i used 3/4c of pecans with it and it still tasted great. my dad (who's very against my vegan diet and is a stubborn omnivore) LOVED them and said they were better than baked brownies :)
