Les Dennis was a good host of this show but it was always cringe-inducing when he began his 'impressions'. That new-style board looks like it gives off some high level radiation! No wonder they switched it back.

I quite liked the colour board. Its the modern one in the Vernon Kay version I don't like.

Has anyone got an episode of Family Fortunes with the coloured scoreboard?

2:11 "Biiiiiiiiiig monnnneeeeeeyyyyyyy" is the precursor to the "Riiiiiiiiidge Raaaacceeerrrrrrr" quote.

Is there any reason why the TVS slides look exactly like Channel 4 ones. Font is similar, logo position etc.
-
@gazmccarthy I do like what they did with the Central ident though.

Completely agreed. It's TOO modern. The dot matrix board was used up to the 2003 daytime version, so why bother changing it?

that was only a guess, though.
Is the LWT programme at the start Blind Date?

A friend of mine has found a newspaper from June 27th 1987 and the LWT programme finishing was Blind Date which was the last episode of series 2.
