I have tried to replace the Windows XP on my LG X110 with the new Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

It half works. I can't find drivers for the screen, wifi or sound so I can experience the operating system but not really keep it installed. Shame I didn't buy a dell Mini 10v as they are fully compatible (but they didn't exist when I got this)

This was installed out of academic curiosity and the original Windows XP will be reinstated as it is not my intention to infringe any licence agreements.

  • how do you do that?

  • @fortisnova Look for Hackintosh in your favourite search engine. It is quite a long process to install it. It doesn't work well on mine as the LG hardware isn't fully supported.

  • are you going to restore it to xp?

  • @lerty66 I left MAC on it for about a day then restored it to XP. Since then it has changed to various other Windows operating systems but at the moment it is back on the original XP. The only one that supports all the hardware and nice features. Also the fastest funny enough.
