You might look into using glass to carry your water in. I haven't found any study showing stainless steal to leach toxins into water.. but stainless steal is coated or alloyed with Nickel and Chromium which I remember, coming across in reading one day, as being minerals that somehow, I can't recall, contribute to cancer. It's also interesting to study why they don't make good cookware compared to copper.. which I wouldn't use either one because I don't like cooked food.
