@neXus200xx Domestic pets *never* lived freely. That's why they're domestic. Taming wild animals (tigers, monkeys ex) is a different debate all together. But the ad is talking about domestic cats and dogs who should be spayed and nurtured.

In our neighborhood there are a lot stray cats and they go hungry, turn ferrel, get hit by cars and carry decease. It's sad and preventable with spay and nurturing of your animals. Your ignorant and part of the problem if you think otherwise.

@angeldoxie1 Yes, you CAN tell a child it is wrong to buy or breed cats and dogs, so long as others are forced to die in the shelters for lack of space! I am 54 yrs old, and when I was a child, and even as a teenager, I NEVER knew anyone who had a litter of puppies (Shih Tzu, or otherwise!). Having a litter means the "owners" are either ignorant, or they want the money from being a Backyard Breeder. Either way, it spells IGNORANCE.

Yes, there are alot of cats and dogs. I know it's a wrong thing to breed cats and dogs due the popultaion right now. But you can't go up to a child who says her shi tzu had puppies with another shi tzu and be like "OH THATS A BAD THING YOUR A BYB SHAME ON YOU GO DIE YOU MAKING EVERYTHING WORSE BLAH BLAH" and give her the whole animal shelter lecture. That's rude, and a person who was a special kid aid at my school called me a byb. I threw a bottle at her though so its all good :)
