To re-enforce the announcement of their sponsorship of the 2012 Olympic Games, adidas asked us to devise and then produce a day-long programme of media stunts throughout the capital.
We met the huge logistical challenge of arranging all the necessary permissions from the local and national agencies in record time. Athletes suspended below Marble Arch, BMX Olympic racing on a barge on the Thames, and World Champion Tyson Gay racing across the Millennium Bridge gave London a taste of what they could expect from adidas's involvement with the 2012 Games.
Not only did the day generate huge public interest and media coverage, it significantly raised adidas's Olympic profile across the capital.
