Truck Into House Heavy Damage- Tacoma WA

April 13, 2008 and it wasn't a Friday! I don't know why the driver of the truck veered of Portland Ave at the intersection of 59th Street East and slammed hard into the house. Structural damage was significant and the family living in the house forced to move. Four were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. I don't know if the injured were in the chevy truck or inside the home.

If you've ever been to Central Kitsap County, there's a corner on Central Valley Rd that has a very nice ($250,000) house sitting there and every now and then, the owners would get someone in their front yard (and a couple of times in their house) someone who couldn't negotiate the turn.

I'm glad nobody was seriously hurt in this accident and hope all is well for all involved.

I remember seeing this on the news! (I think King 5, but not totally sure) 

amazing shots: its not everyday you see a hole in a house.
