almoust all hp nx6110 hawe is the same problem. it cal's "cold joint" chipset contact to mothearboard problem. 1 soliution open laptop find intel chipset under touchpad put som shit on him... when jo close laptop to push the chipset down to beather contact mothearboard. i used a polister small pease of it. now it woarks. no stoned problems enimore. sry for my ENG ok guys? :D i hope you gona use my advise

I have the same laptop with the same problem, I've just clean the internal fan and heat sink, and thats it... now its working perfectly.
