How to make a Max hat from "Where the Wild Things Are"

A quick video showing show to sew a hat that looks like the hoodie Max wears in the "Where the Wild Things Are" film. Basic sewing skills required!

The fabric I used is called "Sherpa Fleece" in white from Joann's Fabrics and I got the black floral wire from Joann's as well. The fabric is a bit thick and will be hot so I didn't line it (except for the inside of the flaps since they show). I noticed that the hoodie in the movie wasn't lined, but of course you can line it if you want to :)

The rest of the costume was made using McCall's Costumes pattern MP312 in the same fabric.
