Roland HD-1 Sound Check

See i wanted to get a TD6 but got short on cash so i just decided i'd go for something cheaper i was though focused on getting a roland i dont even know why i didnt even go as far as researching other brands so i got the hd-1 and it turned out to be a lot more than i hoped. I'm just checking the sound before recording with my brother. will post video of song soon! enjoy! Oh and before i bought this i looked everywhere for videos recorded righ out of the sound output not just with a cam mic or sth anyway hopefully it'll help you choose the right drumset for you.

can u play the ipod and play using the heaphones? Finally, if I connect it to a stereo, can i then connect it to another set of speakers or not (Do you need a set of cables or is it included) wow that was a lot of questions lol! I

@Musictwins67 It comes with one line level input and 2 headphone outputs, both controlled by the same volume knob. In this case I hooked up one output to my speakers and the other to my headphones. Had I used an iPod, it would have gone trough the input and to both outputs. They're all regular female headphone jacks..

Can I ask a question to anyone who knows about these kits.

I have been put of getting an electric kit due to the lack of control witht he hi hats. They seem to have an open sound and a closed sound and verry little inbetween. How realistic do the hh's on this kit sound and feel?

on this kit you get i think 4 levels of hihat. 1. full pressure on the pedal, 2 foot resting on pedal. 3 hihat mid open and 4 fully open hihat. It's hard to tell the diference between this and a real drumset specially when you play live

do u need that speaker accessory to hear the noise out loud or do u have to have that for it

@Cyrisik95 You've got to buy a mini jack (3,5mm) to mini jack cable. You put it into the output of the HD1 and into your computer's input. Use a software like Windows movie maker or garageband to record it. Then edit the sound and put it onto the video =)
