Check the cable means at the phone connection end as opposed to the socket. I thought it best not to mess with it.
They also forced the words "no sound" when my phone can clearly be heard to have a dialing tone.

I had to place the sony camcorder mike positioned on the front of the camcorder right against the phone ear peice to pick up the audio.
Has anyone heard this type of message before as i have only heard it a handful of times since joining virgin.
