@victor4980 An apology does not amend the wrongs of the past. Action does! Instead of apologizing how about you use your inherited guilt to work toward a more just society? Instead of saying sorry, how about you do something? I will assume you are labeled as white Victor and you should be happy for that label because it means you won't have to work as hard to be economically solvent. Your statement is quite offensive and it struck me as racist. I know I sound harsh but it is the truth.

@josuerodriguez1981 Congress is controlled by male WASP. We may be Americans just like the European Americans but we will be treated like second class citizens because we are not part of the majority, The majority does what is best for itself, and creating equal opportunities for everyone is not what is best for the status quo!

They knew-- persons of African descent struggled and even rebelled openly for freedom from the moment they reached our shores--along with Indians, Irish and German indentured servants when people were unfair. Rebellion and escaping to live in the West or with Indians or North to Canada was the best they could do. Brother Malcolm and Doctor King inherited a tradition of civil struggle, the sixties was the right time for people to listen because everyone could see.

why are they not picking cotten in the field ... poor ol black people never new how good they had it in them fields ... its like "aww nice sunny day to pic cotten .. this sure is the life :D " lol

huh?? don't really get your comment. The video is historic as it looks at the civil rights movement it is not a comment on racism or inequality now.
