in the tab that 6 should be a 3 sorry. you could play this instead of the "real" way, starting on d: 13-10-10-12-10-10-13-10-10-15-­10-10-13-10-12-10

yeah for the intro you need 6 strings, with the 1st string tuned to a c, something like this: 6-00-2-00-3-00-5-00-3-0-2-0-, but you can probably play it an octave lower on a lower string, and then i think the rest is played with 5 strings. hope that helps.
