In Oklahoma for sale is this 1969 John Deere 4020 Diesel Power Shift with 4,500 hours. Power Shift and Engine all very good and runs and drives great. Up until 1 year ago had a cab on it. So that was removed and has all new fenders and brackets and the 3 pieces that cover that rockshaft are all new too.

The mentions on it is that it seems to have a bad injector -- when starting it will miss will for up to 5 minutes then it levels out good and kicks in fine. Didn't bother him so he left it along. It has a 4630 front axle on it now (kit or bracket underneath from Abilene machine I think he said). I saw a average 3020 front end sell for under $400 last month but I also know of a real good one for $900 in central TX. If you found a good one and wanted to switch it I would guess the 4630 front end would bring good money too or I could list it on eBay for you. Has solid wheels on the front. Fronts are 60-70% probably, 750x18s. Rear are est. very good 85-90% Firestone Field and Road. 18.4x34. PTO does turn a little when off. On the gauges my guy who test drove it the other day said the fuel gauge doesn't work and either the temp. or generator light doesn't work but the other does. Dash looks real good since it had that cab on it.

Hood and sheet metal a 9/10. Nose was dented and he beat it out and will probably see just a little dent there now so you hopefully can see any in the pictures I'll be sending. He didn't do any body work on it before painting it. Has New seat and steering wheel. Power Steering is all real good and brakes too.

Painted it up nice 6 months ago and wheels too nice. Painted rear wheels after he loosened them. Cost almost $600 to heat the rear wheels and do that in time and labor on this and another tractor but the new owner will be glad they are loose now. 3-point adjustments are loose.

$11,500 obo. Robert at (512) 573-8359
