the only tecmo super bowl game that is close to being a football simulation instead of an arcade football game. only tecmo super bowl game that has real defenses. also the only tecmo super bowl game with a free edit for unlimited shelf life. a different tecmo football experience yes.. but wack? not in my book! this version can live on FOREVER!

@SportsVideoGaming True indeed. Now dont get me wrong I played the hell out of this game. I loved it for what it was. I was let down that it was more like Madden not the old school Tecmo bowl. But in its defence you could do so much more in as you said. Heck stuff Madden still doesnt do.

my only real problem with this game was that the game play was too slow but that's easily fixed by editing all players in the game making them faster. for tecmo super bowl "SIM" action this is definitely it. arcade.. Tecmo Bowl or Tecmo Super Bowl (NES). a little in between Tecmo Super Bowl III.
one thing is for sure though. this version is better than Tecmo Bowl Throw Back.
