  • Great video! I used to live in Titusville, and I tell you, the best place to see a launch is from space park. Stand at the river. When it goes, you hear nothing. It's weird. But look at the river, you'll see a odd "ripple" come across and hit the shore.  That ripple is the sound wave from the shuttle. Then you hear the launch.

  • People clap for the dumbest friggin things in the countdown. Great sound though once it's airborne!

  • Great video !! Only saw one launch about ten years ago from Daytona Beach and that was by luck. I happened to look south and saw the shuttle rising up to the sky.
