On November the 8th 2008, Giorgio Calcaterra, a roman runner and professional taxi driver, competes in the 100 km Ultramarathon World Championship , his greatest challenge ever. The passion for running has turned him through the years into a TOP RUNNER. Able to master whatever road race , he established countless records. On the World Championship races background, Giorgio reveals himself: running is an innate drive in life, taxi driving is the job that allows him to be on the run at all times. For Calcaterra sliding from his cab to a major race is simple and natural. After the 2006s and 2007s disappointments in Korea and the Netherlands , now a great chance has come: the World Championship is scheduled in Tarquinia, an hour drive from Rome... A documentary on a very special taxi driver and his extraordinary win.
