WONG:
Opulent and chic Indian outfits set the ramp on fire on the second-day of the Wills India Fashion Week. Let's take a look.

STORY:
Designer Tarun Tahiliani's show revoked an old world charm, as models walked the ramp to a popular old Bollywood number.

Ornate brass lotuses and temple tops provided an ideal setting for the show, which aimed to show Indianness.

Tahiliani tried to fuse glamor, style and opulence in his designs.

A glorious color palette in shaded hues of peaches to rose, orange to reds, wines and purples. And a sure winner in biscuits and beige added a unique touch to the outfits.

His menswear collection was equally interesting in color, texture, and style.

[Tarun Tahiliani, Designer]:
"This was not a couture show. As you noticed, there was no embroidery, it was a ready-to-wear show. These are separates, so you can take the skirt and wear it with a t-shirt."

The 11th edition of Wills India Fashion Week promises to be a grand affair with around 84 designers and 40 shows in New Delhi.

  • Beautiful. Not all fashion should be western.

  • k whatevs...these clothes are exquisite. the mens wear is influenced by what the Mughal kings & princes wore...men nowadays wear them @ weddings. And i think men look much better in them than in tuxes

  • HAHA!!!! You're just proving my point! Hrirtik Roshan is nothing more than a miming pansy, the opposite of masculinity. He thinks wearing sunglasses makes him a 'cool guy' but he's a joke!

Indian's are just so misinformed, bemused and detached from reality. You all seem to believe something and don't realise all non Indians have a completely different outlook.

  • Watch Hritik Roshan,John Abraham,Salman Khan,Dino Morea,Upen Patel,Sahid Kapoor.After that talk.Dont comment if u have no idea about India.After u watch all I will send u another list.

  • Indian fashion is so unique and very beautiful. the western dress can be very drab and boring ........ let the colour in :)

    ( I am a westerner)

  • I agree with ccmerope and tukairc!! indian men are very masculine. In any case Who the hell are you to comment on other people's body..We have what we have and we make the best use of IT. Every culture does it in a different way. PLUS WE KICKED YOU OUT OF OUR COUNTRY FOR RULING OVER US FOR 200 YEAR WITH OUT WAR SO JUST STAY OUT AND SHUTUP!!!! YOU ARE NOBODY TO MAKE COMMENTS ON INDIAN PEOPLE...

  • yoo aarontlondon or whoever the fuck you are Indian men have FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR more "masculine" bodies than western men....and neways MOST western men are opting to be GAY. so dont evn TALK about masculinity. and u want to see body??? LMAOO u think Jude LAw and Orlando Bloom have bodies. YOU are GAY! go take a look at Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Arjun Rampal.... and u ll be ashamed of ur so called jude law or hugh grant or wateva

  • Lol I beg to differ. It's so funny see Indian men in the gym pumping iron emphatically without the slightest hope of EVER having a 'masculine' body

  • More masculine than English men aarontlondon. Jude Law? Orlando Bloom? Robert Pattinson? Hugh Grant?...all so PUNY!

Scottish or Irish or Welsh men are hot tho.

  • whats wrong with indian men's wear? You need a very masculine body to pull it off...so western men should stay away from it....lol
