@thesukrix We're not talking about morality here. I am actually fairly opposed to the idea of killing whales, but who am I to say the Japanese can't do it? So long as their whaling remains sustainable (which according to the IWC it is) I see no problem with it. Who are we to claim that their culture cannot do something because its seen by our (very different) culture as wrong? Go by that logic and we should celebrate how the white man civilized the Native Americans.

I understand that Whales are endangered but shouldn't all commercial fishing be brought to a stop? with over fishing and illegal fishing, more people loose a job that could have been in the family for 100's of years because people are in it for the money. wheres the money when all the fish are dead?
