Its called the ZXA1, it weighs 19 pounds, and has a line in not line out. EV needs to train this guy a little more.

How's this compared to the QSC K8?

for me as a dj at small to medium sizedparty's they are loud enough as a monitor but for a metal band i'd still advise you to use ZX-3's or ZX-5's (or A5's) as stage monitor

my name is stefan, i live in the netherlands (Holland) i've got 2 ZX-A1's and i also run them at +- 220/230 volts there are american and european models so i don't know how easy it is for someone in Brazil to get european models but just so you know there ARE models of the zx-a1 that work on sround 220 volts mains power.

@Djalisom i just found out from our rep that the is only good for 120v.

It sounds powerful and looks good. Wonder what the system noise/hiss is when it's just ticking over. Would a pair of them be suitable as stereo speakers for a stage piano in a home setting?

@betweennotes This speaker has serious power for it's size. It would definitely have the power to be used in a home setting.

@AllProSoundvideo And regarding the system noise, they are powerful but would you hear a system hiss/buzz from them when turned on in a normally quiet environment?

@betweennotes from what I remember of when John was here, they were very quiet. Obviously, the louder you push them the more hum your going to here, but it was not noticeable at all during the demo
