I definitely agree, this is one of the best kaoss pad videos.
Are there just three sample buttons on the bottom edge?

Thank you, No there are 4 sampler buttons at the bottom edge (: A,B,C,D,).
[some more sampl info: Stored on SD card, editable & loadable on mac and pc, internal and external sampling @ 16bit, 48khz]

Ook, thats wicked. I read that you can store up to a 100 preloaded samples too, I take it that that is with the use of a flash card, correct?

yes, withouth the SD (not Compact Flash) it is like a KP2... power off = samples gone!
You can save 100 KP3 loopfiles (lossles audio with bpm and measure info included) "24.KP3"
100 WAV files and 100 AIFF files... but those last 2 are without bpm info and are set at 120bpm by default. havent tried that yet.
