F1 Spirit was one of the 1st ROM on MSX with the SCC (sound custom chip) that brings 5 voices more to the 3 voices of the PSG sound chip on the system.
The name of this game doesnt says that you play also Rally and Racing car in it ;)
A great souvenir of Konami on MSX, once again...

  • You should play it at 60Hz, now the music is too slow. Although probably how most Europeans recall it :). Compare with the video "MSX - Music from F-1 Spirit, part 1".

  • @Grauwsaur : never played it in 60hz, sure it must be cool :)

I am writing this machinally (got it 20 years ago) but this code should unlock all levels awaiting you to complete Australia gp and finish.

  • Ha! I still have that rom somewhere! For obvious nostalgic reasons I've also put an MSX1 - 2+ on my N73. Bliss~

  • Was my first cartridge on the MSX2, the SCC could be modified to be put on or off thus allowing "cracked" games to work with original SCC sound, 1987 tweaker stuff ;) Good memories!
