Broomstick Lace Crochet

I was looking for something to do over the RavelOlympics and you just gave me an idea. I've not tried Broomstick lace yet it has been on my Want to Learn for a long while. Watched this video a dozen times. I think your instructions are clear and very easy to follow. I can see using my broomstick under my arm - used to do that while "trying" to figure out knitting. (total phail LOL ) Thanks again for your great tutorials!

Yeah maybe you're right, it seems easier working with the knitting needle between your knees. It's nice that you show us different ways so that at the end we can try them and decide which we prefer.

I don't have a good knitting needle to use can you use a afgan crochet hook?

An afghan hook will probably be to small. You can use pvc pipe or an actual broom handle.

if i could crochet this would be great , but alas im a knitter .
