  • According to Porcupine411 Hoffman's case is now under advisement and the judge is weighing a piece of additional evidence: Comments Kurt is alleged to have made in the jail.

Not sure what those comments are or even what they allegedly are.

  • haha, I live in the one country that built on the foundation of the individual, too bad boneheads like you don't care to take care of it. I'm happy to give to charity, which I do every paycheck. I don't like to be forced to pay for wars I don't agree with and pay to bailout the REAL greedy people on Wall Street. I know you will never get it and that is why you are no different than the majority of the people in this country regardless of ur party affiliation. Dems and repubs are both immoral.

  • I'm not an anarchist, I'm a libertarian. I agree with Locke and our founders that gov't is a necessary evil. The problem is that gov't has rights that an individual does not, most important, to initiate force. How can I delegate a right I do not have? If I don't have the right to take 38% your paycheck, I cannot elect some one to do it for me. Gov't monopoly on force should be used to protect the individual resolve fraud and violence, since that is the only time I can use force.

  • Taxation is force, I'm am force to fund wars I don't agree with. I'm forced to pay huge sums of interest on the federal debt which I did not volunteer to underwrite with my labor. I don't get to deal with the gov't on a voluntary basis, how can you say you don't agree that gov't is force? To say you don't agree is to deny the vary function that allows our current governing system to exist. I understand tho, I bet the pile of sand you put your head in is warm and makes you feel safe.

  • "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master"
