I never knew that this was his last performance, Jake died the following month. No wonder this was a such a powerful performance. Jake Hess is truly one of the best singers of all time.

Jake is the most humble man I have ever seen. I have watched countless videos of him, and it appears everytime he finishes his solo(s), he quietly puts the mike down and returns to his seat. Thats just who he was. I love Mark too. He is by far the funniest I have seen. The way he makes fun of Bill is amazing and I love how Bill pretends to get mad. I just wish there were more of these types of guys in our society. God Bless!

Jake is one of the people I would have liked to really known. He had so many physical problems but he was never down. What a wonderful inspiration he has been to me.
