  • I didn't realize what was happening to my until I began to research what I was doing wrong...........well thanks to people like you, I know realized that I was working in a hostile work enviroment created by a bully boss.

  • My boss is giant turdy asshole and I wish that he'd fucking get ran over by huge truck!

  • @1245chester What is so bad about it is that most bullying is so insidous that it is very hard to prove. Some bullies are so good at being able to conceal their "dark sides". I've found that the worse types of bullying are not the In-your-face screamers, but the ones who do their dirty work under the radar. My 2nd bully was like that--everyone else loved her and thought she was great. Only a few saw her true nature. Good luck with your situaton & don't let it destroy your confidence.

  • I get so pissed about bullying 'cause the 1st 2 times I went through it, I had no idea what bullying was and thought it was my fault they were doing this to me. I thought if I was only a better, more competent worker they wouldn't do this not realizing that I was those things and that is why I was targeted. It has destroyed 1 career and affected my confidence even to this day.

  • @hanabbe Typical spineless HR bullshit!!!

  • I've also witnessed co-workers who were bullied go to HR to only be labeled as whiners and trouble-makers. Nothing was ever done and to add insult to injury, they were subsequently retaliated against for making a complaint. I worked with a male bully on 1 job who always had a target going at any given time. It was only when company security caught him on video in the act of placing nails in a co-workers tires that he was fired and charged. This co-worker already had 1 accident as a result.

  • Bullying is horrible!!!! I've experienced it at 3 seperate jobs. I wish people would take this more seriously. HR, IMO, is only there to serve the company. I've gone to them and they always spout off the same BS dribble telling you to sit down and "try to talk things out rationally" and "learn to be a team-player." That is a load of crap 'cause the bullies motive is not about a simple personality conflict but a need to dominate and psychologically destroy their target. Forget the teamwork!!!!

  • If you quit, you forfeit your ability to receive unemployment benefits. Bully back. If they fire you over that, tell the unemployment center you believe you were wrongly terminated. Your former employer will buckle and you will receive benefits. It costs them more to have a lawsuit on their hands.

  • @prepster845 i can totally relate....my boss is up then she's down she's nice when she's nice and meaner than you could imagine when she's not....i most definitely think she needs some meds and that she is bipolar...the worst part is i work in a church and her behavior is allowed or should i say ignored by the pastor.

  • Today after years of verbal abuse I reported my boss to human services. I am not sure what is going to happen but I am glad to know that she may soon realize her words and actions go a lot further than she thinks. She, and no other boss for that matter, has the power to belittle and abuse employees. We are all human, we all care. Much love!
