  • My thoughts on this is, that his boyfriend wasn't giving him any, so he drugged his boyfriend knowing the other guy was coming over so he can have sex with him, I think. lol.

  • @Scene68

    LOL

    vivid imagination...

  • I think its one those which like u to get whatever suits you.

& personely i think the guy as cant ve sex with his mate,he hunts out a ONS.

    Kinda open relation i guess.

And I m not mad at you,but still sorry for my rudeness.

  • people who does not understand this film are dumb, its about a couple loving each other so much that willing to give his partner things that he coudn't, and the younger guy was caught up in the middle, what are you going to do if you love someone and cannot give what he needs? ok? the drug is not for the boy, its for his lover.

  • I don't think there was much to read into, the older guy didn't say much. I did think he was going to drug the date, but realized afterward that it must have been medication for his partner. Most of it was revealed in the end.

  • A true partner would be understanding if his love couldnt perform sexually and would still stay committed to him. For better or for worse. Why do gay couples seem to think that everything has to go their way. Sacrifice of monogamy. And as long as the partner is giving them love and support and companionship...isnt that enuff rather than go thru all the energy to pick some one up? He could be instead spending time with his terminal partner.

  • At 6:23. When guys do this (pull their pants up before they stand up) they usually have a small penis that they don't want to be seen (found out). They show little or no box.

  • @Scene68 hey i thought the same thing lol. you're not crazy :)

  • When I saw the end, at first I thought that in the beginning Brett invited Hugo over b/c it was the boyfriend's fantasy to see Brett get head from someone else. But the very end says it all; I think he drugged the b/f so he wouldn't know that Hugo was coming over. When the sick b/f says, "how was I?" it makes me wonder if he already knew he was being drugged. Probably to get banged by Brett in a certain way?? IDK... but poor Hugo, I feel really bad for him.

  • poor Hugo I feel really sad after watching this clip! He's charming and really handsome. OMG he just wants love and be loved. He thought he has found the special one yet... an older man whose partner is sick and they have been together for almost 9 years. You know what the saddest thing is Hugo maybe really like the older man yet the older man is just treating him as his partner. He wants *him* to feel good as of the older man is making love to him. Poor Hugo, leaving at a vulnerable state.

  • @Scene68 that makes sense

  • @Beroean30: What a bunch of nonsense. A friend of mine took care of his very ill wife for years and after some time she said it would be okay for him to see other women because some people simply need some closer human contact and some don't.

Btw., this is a movie and has nothing to do with regular homosexual relationships, duh. I don't see how the characters are portraited as anything but tragic so where is the justification? It's like saying smoking in a movie does promote smoking.

  • -m assuming those of you who are baffled by this pretty simplistic plot are apart of a younger audience. There really isn't too much to explain. Lonely twenty something looking for "solace" in an older man (his father probably was never a very nurturing figure in his life) meets an older man who's partner is sick (maybe HIV related). The sick partner seeks "solace" in being a martyr. He wants his lover to have all the things that he cannot give him as a result of the illness.

  • OMG :/ I feel sad now.

  • how come the yung one is still single? hmmm please..if u read this..and u r still single..write me ,-.)))) hahaha
