Road To Phulbari JJ16 Part one

You have to make a side step from Jalan Jalan Singapore here: I took a week off from Singapore to visit our 'Organic Himalaya' (search uTube for more) Farm in Phulbari, a small mountain village facing the Himalaya, 2 hours East of Kathmandu. A few years ago Japanese engineers in yellow hard hats appeared on our mountain side. Now, branching off from Dhulikhel, we have one of the most spectacular mountain roads in the world (facing a most spectacular Himalaya view across) passing below our farm. It's a new link between Nepal and India. Here are ten minutes of this road right to the bottom of our hill, where a side track starts that leads right up to our hill top. WARNING: Please do not attempt this at home. It is simply ludicrous and very dangerous to drive with the right hand only on the handle bar and hold a Lumix DMC-TZ7 High Dev. camera in the left hand, filming the country side (even so the camera strap is lodged between your teeth and you can drop camera instantly to get a grip of the left handle bar if need be) !
