@Sporeadam What I wanna know is: "WHERE'S THE CAVE MAN?"
-
SkookS.

For those asking about the strange guitar effect earlier on in the song, it's a tape eater.
-
@lonewulv13 It's a tape eater.

I'm just glad that we're out here and that he's in there
and that he's the sheriff and that we're frozen out here
and that we're in there--i just remembered we're out here!

@zydomason Out of the entire list on VII there are around 8 good remixes.
-
@zydomason well aside from just being a noise.
-
@zydomason I agree and sadly that is the ultimate flaw with all of these.
-
@lonewulv13 Heh don't you just love that shaky/twitchy effect?

it hardly resembles the original. It can't be called a remix. Maybe a rearrangement.

@zydomason The entire point of OC ReMix is to do interpretive rearrangements. We don't do traditional remixes where the original audio is directly sampled. The ReMixers do their own interpretation in whatever styles they want. They don't have to copy the mood or instrumentation of the original. For anyone that needs the original, they can listen to the original. :-)

Very nicely done. Another good example of a good OC Remix. I hope I never have to hear someone's song getting shot down by pretzel because he thinks "it sounds too much like the original."

@genesisSOC We know the difference between a close cover that lacks a unique, personalized slant vs. a cover with enough significant interpretation. We still reject super close covers, you just don't get to hear them. :-)
