Angelina Jolie Responds to "Give Refugees a Hand"

Since early 2001, renowned American actress Angelina Jolie has traveled the world as a Goodwill Ambassador to UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency. On World Refugee Day, she pays tribute to the forcibly uprooted and to the people who protect them.

Do you mean why should we help victims of war while we are sitting happily enjoying peace that we know not even how to appreciate?

i will give you one reason: because we were born in undeserved peace and they were born in undeserved war. it is only chance we have what they do not and that is why we need to react. because we could have been born in their world.

Thank you for Visiting Pakistan a few days ago,I hope that one day u will read a few lines i am Writing,in 1980 i saw for the first Time refugeese in Pakistan a flood of Shelterless People, who have never seen a tv or a Big Aeroplane simple shepherds,Herds man from Afghanistan,Pakistan supported them as Brothers every third house in Pakistani Tribel areas as well as upper and middle of Pakistan was supporting an Afghan Refugee family, 30 years later they have been uprooted again By Floods,HELP

Though I greatly appreciate a celebrity using her fame for a greater purpose, I would like to remind "ordinary people" that you, too, are capable of extraordinary things. Helping UNHCR by volunteering locally or traveling is a wonderful way to help. Be inspired by Ms. Jolie and do what you can to make a difference. Not just on 6/20, but every day.

I agree. I love her works, her personality, her movies. She is a good mother, not like those nasty celerities who just drunk and drug, and ...nasty such as britney spear, paris houston, etc... She doesn't scared of dirty, diseases especially more hiv in africa. She is the best woman. Wishing her always have the best life.

Beautiful, Smart, Sexy, Talented,. All these things would be discriptive od Angelina Jolie. But there's more...so much more to this woman than meets the eye, or dazzles on the silver screen. Anjelina is a compassinate person.

She see's the pain and suffering of people and she feels the pain as if it were her in that persons position! Anjel(Angel)ina's heart and committment has no boundries
